Prepare Setting for S80 credit card terminal in ADS office Step 1. - Connect networkEthernet Cable from cable switch to LAN/RS232B port behind the S80 credit cardterminal.
- Connect the powercable to S80 credit card terminal.
- Turn on the S80credit card terminal by pressing the power button.
Step 2. Information updatefor S80 credit card terminal will be downloaded automatically if internet andpower is connected properly. When download iscompleted, press menu button and enter password to access the main menu screen.
Step 3. From the path “Main Menu”-> “6. communication” -> “8. ECR Comm. Type” -> “3. Ethernet” , Enter 10009 for COMM. PORT , and choose “1.TCP/IP” for PROTOCAL. From the path “Main Menu”-> “6. communication” -> “7. LAN parameters” -> “1. LAN Type” -> choose “1. DHCP”. From the path “Main Menu”-> “6. communication” -> “7. LAN parameters” -> “2. IP Address” -> Write down theIP address shown. From the path “Main Menu”-> “5. System Settings” -> “3. Working Mode” -> “1. Tip Options” -> “1. EDC Tip” -> “1.CREDIT” -> choose “ON”. From the path “Main Menu”-> “5. System Settings” -> “1. Date/Time Setup” -> Enter thedate and time for now. From the path “Main Menu”-> “4. Host Setting” -> “1.Host Parameters” -> “1.Merchant ID” -> check to see if the Merchant IDnumber correct and write down the Merchant ID number if correct. From the path “Main Menu”-> “4. Host Setting” -> “5.Host Register” -> “1.Provision”. (This step is toregister the card terminal; can only register one time; will shown status errorif perform more than one time.)

Step 4. From the path “Main Menu” -> “6. communication” -> “7. LAN parameters” -> “2. IP Address” -> Write down the IP address shown. From the path “Main Menu” -> “6. communication” -> “7. LAN parameters” -> “1. LAN Type”-> choose “2. Static”. From the path “Main Menu” -> “6. communication” -> “7. LAN parameters” -> “2. IP Address” -> Edit the IP address like (192.168.1.231 or 10.1.10.231 for T1, 192.168.1.232 or 10.1.10.232 for T2 and so on) From the path “Main Menu” -> “4. Host Setting” -> “1. Host Parameters” -> “1. Merchant ID” -> Write down the Merchant ID number and make sure it iscorrect. On the computer’soperation system (e.g. Windows XP), where the computer going to use the creditcard terminal, make sure “Microsoft.NET Framework(4.0 for wins xp, 4.5.2 forwins 7)” AND “POSLink” is installed. Start MCPOS.exe bydouble click its shortcut on window’s desktop.
Step 5. In “MCPOS” ->“Back Office” -> “System setup” -> “Settle” -> “Integrate Credit Cardprocess software” -> set value to 1 -> save. In “MCPOS -> “BackOffice” -> select“Master” from drop down list -> “Merchant account” ->

Step 6. In “Back Office”-> select“Master” from drop down list -> “Credit Card Terminal” -> adda terminal to the list as follow. **The T# in Terminal Name usually will be set withrespect to the station number on MCPOS
Step 7. Use notpad.exe to edit"config.ccc" in c:/mis/mcpos on computer using the Credit card Terminal:
